Hello! Happy June :)

Hi everyone,

I am not sure where you are looking at this blog post from but here in New York City things are heating up.

I recently did my first outdoor market and it was a really great accomplishment. As always it was so nice to meet new people and hear their opinions about my drawings. If I met you there, thanks for popping by!

Heres what I learned:

  • Talking to real people about your art is so much more gratifying than any comment section on an online post.

  • Get a tent or you’ll be toast! 🔥

  • I thought we set up shop in the street to sell things, but in reality, I just had a wonderful time with my family, friends and meeting new people. Thats the flavor that stays in my mouth even after the market ended. Selling things was a bonus.

  • Organizing our table set up is crucial for us to be able to easily go to these markets. I really want to do it more often!

  • Since it was an outdoor market, a lot of people were new to what I do and what we were selling. So we'regoing to experiment with making signage that explains the products at a glance.

Theres probably more but I have to keep moving and so do you! Have a great day and don’t forget just how creative and unique you are.

Hasta la Pasta
